Right there in the middle is the drain pump filter. Once you pull off three torx screws it is pretty easy to get to. It only caused a minor flood when I opened things up too.
Tons of fun.

Tanner struck out and unfortunately that has been the mantra of the day. He has not done too well. He and Kris got into it a bit and has a splitting headache. It is also freezing.
Oh well, there is always tomorrow. It will be a better day.
Today I got to go up to Overstock and interview with several members of the Oracle team. I interviewed with Chris Mason, a VP, an SVP, and the person I would be replacing. As I reflect on the 4 on 1 I think I did pretty well. I feel that I was able to answer their questions without much difficulty and the only area that I feel I’m a bit lacking in is that they process thousands of orders per hour, whereas Novell processes thousands of orders in a month. It is a huge volume difference. I’d have to come up to speed on it quickly.
After the interview I got the typical… “We are interviewing and evaluating other candidates – we’ll get back to you”. We’ll see how it goes. The commute would certainly be better. 10 miles versus 37 miles. Not that the commute is the only reason for making a change. There are a lot of good things about Overstock and there are good things happening at Novell as well. I’m not sure what I’ll do if they make me an offer. I guess I’ll cross that bridge when it gets a bit closer.
Anyway – It was a nice day. I was supposed to have two interviews, but ended up only with the one at Overstock. Se la vie.
Dude, yes it was a bad pitch, but if it is close you gotta be swinging. No sweat, you guys killed the Dodgers anyway.
Better and better – Tanner didn’t pull his head when the batter swung. Good job.
Tanner has always wanted to catch. He is doing a great job. He is still learning, but he learns quickly.
She is so happy to get candy, candy, candy. She is either fully happy or fully in tears.
Tanner gets a base hit, rattles the pitcher, steals 2nd and gets hit with the ball. You can still see the stitches embedded into his arm. He is totally pumped up. We finally got the lead back. 8-7
