I am at the end of 2700 west. I rode my bike out here just to see how far it would go. It goes to 15250 south. I accidentally reset my odometer so I am not sure how far it really is. Bummer.
Here is a picture.

Christmas party continued. Most of the kids singing.
Nuff said
We are here at the cathedral of the Madeline for our dress rehersal for Dave Schmidt’s christmas concert.
It is a really cool cathedral and will make for an awesome concert. I am excited. A bonus is that we are having a huge snowstorm outside. Christmas is nearly here.
A while back Kris and I went to a co-worker’s wedding. It was very nice, but very different as well. All in all it was fun and I’m glad that we went.
The girls are just hanging out before dinner and are watching Harry Potter.
I had fun with Kiki and Lexi making bread and sugar cookies. We didn’t bother with cookie cutters and let our creative sides take flight. They tasted good, but the experience was better.
Kris just told me about our neighbor that was killed in a head-on collision on the first. It seems like every time we start feeling bad about ourselves and start engaging in self-pity something wakes us up and makes us realize that we are so truly blessed. It is too bad that it takes something like this to “wake us up”.
I love my family and life so much. I have been blessed in so many ways. I have no reason to complain or be sad. Life is great and I need to approach each day as if it was my last. I need to cherish and enjoy my family more. I loved hanging out and rolling on the ground last night with Kiki before bed. I need to do this more. Life and time is so precious. What a lucky man I am.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Al’s family. Al was a great man, full of fun and love and caring. He will be greatly missed on this earth. His family can be proud of him and his achievements.
The family got together and put the tree in the basement. We have always had the tree in the entry way, but this year we are putting it up in the basement. We had several lighting problems that I still haven’t resolved, but threw a couple of extra stand-alone strands at it and it doesn’t look too bad. After decorating for a while I thought to go get the camera and take a quick video. It isn’t great and the tree is pretty well done, but it is better than nothing. Parker spent most of the decorating time playing with his toys.
We not only had issues with the lights, but Kris couldn’t get our traditional Harry Connick Jr. “Happy Ho, Ho, Ho to you” music, so we survived with the holiday channel from direct tv.
Merry Christmas!
