365 Day 41

A little patriotism is a good thing. We were at the “Murray Fun Days” parade to watch Cassidy walk in the parade and the first float handed out American Flags. I love our country and am glad to be a part of it. God Bless America!

It was the hottest day of the year so far – 95 degrees, and how does Abbi finally go to sleep, on our floor with a winter parka on. I don’t even know where she found it. We have weird kids.

And that cat will stay out for the night… Cat wouldn’t come in last night so he wanted back in pretty badly.

Parker made this gun for me so that we could get all the bad guys. We took them all down.

We had fun while Kris and Tanner were off playing ball in Cedar City, but I’m sure glad to have her back home. Keeping the kids entertained and the home in one piece isn’t an easy job. I had a great time, but it was hard work too.

Missed the perfect light by just a few minutes. Regardless it didn’t turn out too bad.

Utah Art Festival

The kids (Kiki, Parker, and Abbi) and I went down to the opening day of the Art Festival. We took TRAX which thrilled the kids. We all had a great time overall. Kennedy would have stayed all day if we would have let her. The kid play area was a blast. They had all the paint, pipe cleaners, markers, glue, etc. that any kid could ever want. It took Abbi a while to get into it, but eventually she made a bug and a poster. Parker painted his arms and Kennedy did a little of everything. They even had a cool musical instrument “petting zoo” where the kids could try out everything from a tuba to a violin and flute. We listened to some of the live music and Kennedy was in heaven but Parker hated the noise. We rode the glass elevator at the library and just hung around. We are all pretty tired tonight.
