I love to see the temple. I had a nice time worshiping there today. It is simple and beautiful.

365 Day 50
Overlooking Bear Lake. We buried Mom today. It was a difficult day. I got to then take Tanner to scout camp. I took some time, waded in the water, and watched the sun go down. It was cleansing.
While at Bear Lake I made this recording. It expresses some of my thoughts about my mom and all that she has meant to me.

365 Day 48
The younger kids and I spent time with Dad up at the Hill Air force Base Museum. Lots of planes, bombs, helicopters, and history. We had a real nice time. More picks available here.

365 Day 46
Today at 2:35 PM my Mom passed away. She was such a beacon of help and inspiration to all of us.
She was everything a woman could be.
The pain is immense. We love her and miss her.
She is described in Proverbs 31:10-31. “..Her children arise up, and call her blessed…” She is truly blessed and a virtuous woman.

365 Day 44
The wood and metal babee-tenda circa 1970. It certainly wouldn’t make it past legal these days. How did we ever grow up without losing fingers, hands, eyes, etc.?

365 Day 43
Parker and I went on a bike ride to go help a new family move in and on the way home Parker was show-boating a bit on his bike. He twisted the handlebars and went down hard. It was originally a 6-bandaid event, but when one above his eye didn’t want to stop bleeding Kris took him to the instacare and we ended up with bandaids AND superglue. Parker is a tough kid but still this had to hurt a bit.
Later in the day we went to Mom’s and helped her clean out some things from the basement and then did a little slip-n-slide action. The kids had a good time. I’m glad to be able to help Mom and Dad out a bit.
