Somewhat fuzzy proof that Cassidy at least was on the program. She was the third to last number on the program and sang “Joyful, Joyful”. It was a very soulful version of Beethoven’s Ode to Joy. The version came from Sister Act II.

Cassidy did a great job – she has this huge voice inside her and she is able to belt quite well. She has a good possibility of being a strong contra-alto. It is an awesome voice.

She couldn’t match Sister Act for the “soul” of the song,  but she put a real nice spin on it and people complimented her on it.

She was the youngest one performing at the concert but held her own. I keep forgetting that she is so young. She looks so grown up and you expect her to be grown up; and for the most part she does. I’m excited for her to really find that voice and sing it out.
