Peter Pan
I can’t believe that Mom still had this from when we did the roadshow themed around Peter Pan. It was early high school. The costume was as sparkly then as it is now. Lucky for everyone I didn’t try in the tights.
Memorial Day 2011
The weather was rainy but we went over to the cemetery to place flowers on the graves. It was cold and wet, but important. It was good to go and pay respects to those that have gone before me. It was especially odd to be there to honor Mom and Grandpa Macbeth. They were both pivotal people in my life and it is weird to thing that they aren’t here anymore.
I need to spend some more time over there when it isn’t wet, cold, and with millions of others. I need to spend some time talking to them and sharing my feelings with them.

- What a week. Two kids – two casts – two days. Can't wait for the rest of the weekend. Thank goodness for insurance. #

- Still waiting for Tanner to come out of surgery. I don't like this cut-rate surgical center one bit. #
- Too bad I'm not an identity thief. The receptionist just read off several names, bdays, and SSNs of patients. HIPPA would not approve. #

Baseball Parker
Parker had a great game today. He doubled down the third base line, had a bloop single, walked, and scored a run. He is starting to get the hang of hitting. He has a way to go, but is making progress. I’m proud of him.
Post-op
Resting peacefully.
Good Tanner.
The surgery went well except that they had to intubate him because he wasn’t breathing well. Hopefully recovery is swift. He has a new boot which will hopefully not cause the pressure ulcer like the other one.
Hopefully we wont ever have to go to the Kmart hospital again. It was a little creepy and somewhat odd, but if everything ends well we will be happy.
