Had a great fathers day. Breakfast Burritos, Cheese-stuffed burgers, Pasta with Arribiata sauce, and brownies. Great presents and good fun with the kids and family. Loved playing games and singing songs with the kids. All in all it was a great day.

Fathers and Sons
Tanner, Parker, and I went out with the ward to the fathers and sins outing. We went to crystal springs up in honeyville. It was nice to spend time with the boys and eat, swim, play catch, play go-fish, and just hang out.
We arrived a bit late because Parker had baseball and Tanner had football. It rained a little but we still had plenty of time for food and fun. During the night we were awoken twice as trains rumbled by. The second one at 5:00 left Parker awake for the day which was a bit of a bummer.
The hot springs were fun too. I got a decent sunburn but it was all worth it.
Life is great.

Overstock.com Lagoon Day
We had a long and fun day at Lagoon. Cassidy hung out with her friends. Tanner and Kris stayed home and I had the rest plus cousin Brooke. It was a long, tiring, but fun day.
The most frustrating part was that Abbi wouldn’t go on any rides at all. She wouldn’t even go on the merry-go-round. I probably shouldn’t have forced her on a couple of rides, but I did and she didn’t cry. She was the only frustrating aspect of the day.

Memorial Day 2011
The weather was rainy but we went over to the cemetery to place flowers on the graves. It was cold and wet, but important. It was good to go and pay respects to those that have gone before me. It was especially odd to be there to honor Mom and Grandpa Macbeth. They were both pivotal people in my life and it is weird to thing that they aren’t here anymore.
I need to spend some more time over there when it isn’t wet, cold, and with millions of others. I need to spend some time talking to them and sharing my feelings with them.

Post-op
Resting peacefully.
Good Tanner.
The surgery went well except that they had to intubate him because he wasn’t breathing well. Hopefully recovery is swift. He has a new boot which will hopefully not cause the pressure ulcer like the other one.
Hopefully we wont ever have to go to the Kmart hospital again. It was a little creepy and somewhat odd, but if everything ends well we will be happy.

Trampoline Accident
First trampoline accident of the year. Parker fell and hit his head on the pole. Poor kid he has a large goose-egg (picture is poor) but he is doing fine.

Mothers Day 2011
Had a great day with Kris and the kids. Kris and I both spoke in church and she kicked my butt as usual. She is a wonderful wife and mother.
I miss my mom. I was glad to go place flowers on her grave.
