Tanner’s Stitches
The doctor checked out Tanner’s stitches last Friday. They took the boot off and made sure everything was progressing. The problem was that when they took it off his foot relaxed and the calf muscle contracted. When they went to put the boot back on and stretched out his calf Tanner nearly went ballistic. It was not a happy afternoon. These are the stitches on his ankle. There were more stitches on his calf but the doctor didn’t pull the bandage off those ones so we couldn’t take any pictures.
Next week the stitches will come out and we’ll see what happens.
Tanner is a trooper and is doing well – all things considered.

I Miss Mom
I am missing mom today more than normal. There isn’t any particular reason, but I miss her. She was the best mom anyone could have. I wish that she was here to share in our joy, pain, frustration, and success.
I feel her near at times, but it is different than her being here. I realize that I shouldn’t be picky, but if its all the same I would rather have her here. She is awesome.

Tanner Surgery Begins
Here we are waiting for Tanner’s surgery. They so far have delayed us twice now. Tanner is a nervous wreck.
