Visited graves of Mom, Grandma and Grandpa Posey, and Grandpa Macbeth.
The graves looked great. Uncle Dennis made a lollipop tree for mom. It was cute.

Tanner’s Secret of his Success
Tanner made this short video. He said not to put it up to youtube, but he didn’t say I couldn’t put it up here. It is funny. He is quite a character. Love that kid. Click

First Half Marathon
I ran my first half marathon today. It was up in Syracuse. The course was generally flat and fast. I beat my goal of 2:00 by about 5 minutes. I don’t have the official results, but I came in around 1:55.
I had hurt my right foot (arch) a few days before playing dodgeball and as I started running it really started to hurt. I was almost convinced that I needed to drop out, but I pushed through and it started to feel better. By the end it was other body parts that were hurting more than my foot. The run was good, but I’m really feeling it now.

Tanner likes ranch
We had a bit of a struggle with sauce at wingers. T had it the worst with getting a whole cup of ranch all over his hand.
We had a good time with Cassidy, Parker, and Grandpa.

Airshow 2012
We went up to hill airforce base to see the airshow. Went up with Dad, Cass, Tanner, and Parker. We had fun, but it was cold, windy, and eventually a downpour. We didn’t stay for the whole thing, but we had fun while we were up there.

Visiting Mom and Grandma
We went over to the cemetery and visited mom and grandma’s graves. It is nice to get a chance to connect back up with them and let the kids know that we remember them. It was nice to spend a moment out of our hectic lives to reconnect and sing a primary song or two. It was nice and peaceful until Parker took off and yelled from 30 yards away “Hey, come check this out, someone stole a grave!” Gotta love Mr. Bippy.
Mother’s Day at Liberty Park
Went with Kris and the kids to Liberty park. We fed the ducks/pidgeons/geese/… and played on the playground. I’m not sure if it was a polygamous family that was picnicking there but there was only one “dad” and around 20 kids. They were absolutely filthy too. It was odd. Made us look good. 🙂
Kris is absolutely wonderful. I love being married to her and raising our children together. She does so many things for me and the rest of the family. I’m lucky to have her in my life. I don’t know what I’d do without her. I love her tons and tons.

Composite Photos
A couple of photo compositions from Liberty Park. The kids were running and flopping down the hill. They didn’t turn out as good as I wanted, but they are a good start at some photo composition.
