My best friend in the extreme heat. Hopefully it will cost less to run than the A/C. It is great when the humidity is low, but tonight the humidity is up significantly and it isn’t working out quite as well.

Tanner finished up his 5000 catches today so that he could turn it in tomorrow as part of summer two-a-days. He made his goal. Good job T!

Dad is admitted to the hospital on an unknown blood disorder. Not good. He is holding out pretty well. We’ll find out more in the morning when the oncology specialist reviews his case and checks him over. It is probably cancer all over again. One doctor mentioned leukemia, but you never really know. We are all a bit shell-shocked and don’t know what to think.

This has NOT been a great summer so far…
