The ride home should be much better. I feel so stupid that I didn’t stop and try to figure things out sooner. I just thought that it was a Monday and that I was just tired. I guess it was probably true, but when you try to spin your front wheel and it makes it around one half revolution and then stops I think that you have a bit of a problem… and that I have a reasonable reason to complain (and feel stupid at the same time).

Today starts summer vacation 2009 for Kris and the kids. It is always stressful for everyone involved. I hope that this year’s version is smoother than last year. Last year we had hospitalizations (plural) as well as our house torn apart for basement remodeling. Holy smokes, what were we thinking!? Anyway, let’s pray for a smooth summer and fun for everyone.

Our poor excursion wouldn’t pass inspection. I have to get a new tire (and as I found out a $500 ball-joint), as well as repair a turn-signal. Never a dull moment.
