The kids were wondering what the original characters of the Book of Mormon looked like. Well, at the “Grandin Printing Site” they have a copy of the “Anthon Document” that has the characters delivered to Charles Anthon. Kinda cool.

Grammar
Kris is a stickler for grammar. She calls herself a punctuationista. One man Jeff Deck has gone even further. He has turned it into a crusade. My grammar is far from perfect, but I appreciate a good grammar screw-up as much as the next guy. See Jeff’s work at Jeff Deck. His group is the “Typo Eradication Advancement League (teal)”.
To pay homage to TEAL, here are a couple of funny things I noticed in Toronto.

Just a few photos. We really didn’t have much time to sight-see – but a few interesting things just outside the hotel.
Platespin – Toronto Bomb Factory?
I was working in Toronto at our PlateSpin office and it turns out the building used to be a bomb factory. Instead of tearing it down, they built around it and incorporated the old artifacts, walls, and floors, with modern high-tech style. It is a very cool building – but just a little odd.
The door pictured here is an original from the factory. It is a huge and heavy self-closing door. I’m not quite sure what it was for, but it is quite unique.

- At the airport getting "excited" to fly to Buffalo then drive to Toronto. #
- Trying to get someone to do a "health check" on our system. Purchasing is demanding us to go RFP for this. grr. A bit ridiculous. #
- On the ground in Cincinati. Have to check my connection – may be able to call once we are off the plane. #
- On the ground in Cincy – enough time for a bathroom break and then back on the plane. #
- Landed in Buffalo – waiting to get to the gate. This plane is teeeny. Won’t take long to get everyone off. #

- Another Sunday in the books – didn’t go to Mom’s house, but we had fun here hanging out. Found out I stink at "Chutes and Ladders". #
- Wow – Adolfo is raking Yogesh over the coals on the partner deal reg. System. #
- Vacation wasn’t calming and kind to Adolfo. #
- Now I’m getting in trouble for Yogesh not doing things. The items were assigned to me originally, but yogesh said he’d do it. He didn’t . #
- Adolfo is still on denial. #
- You will like this, Adolfo smashed up his rented Merceded in Florida. Ran into a barrier in a parking lot. #
- I got a cushy, comfy seat. No folding chair for me. Hopefully I don’t snooze off. #
- Just heard back from Kelly Robertson – hopefully we will be able to get together. Mike is going to call later tonight. #
