We are close… Just stuck in traffic.
The good thing is that we should be there for the second half. The first half just ended and the Utes are up now.
Go Utes!

Stuck in Las Vegas Traffic
20 Miles to Go!
Getting closer and closer. We are down to 20 miles. The Utes are all tied up with the Horned Frogs now 19-19 with 5 min remaining.
Tanner was sleeping a while ago and all of a sudden screamed and woke up. He had a bad dream about being eaten by a Terrapin (Turtle). It was totally bizzare. he says that he would try to rest some more, but doesn’t want to encouter the dreaded snapping turtle again.
Utes are now leading.
Geeks on the road
We are such geeks. We just passed Ute Nevada in our pimped out Dodge Nitro. Since we can’t get the game on the radio anymore, we plugged in the aircard and plugged the laptop into the sound system. Voila! we are listening to the Utah / TCU game over the internet and cruising along the freeway at 85MPH.
We are hoping that we can make it to the game by half-time.
Oh no… cop….
Whew! I think we didn’t get tagged.
The adventure continues.
The Utes are currently down with our Center (Nevill) with two fouls early in the first half. This isn’t a good start. Come on boys, you can do it.
Tanner’s YM leader just called and asked him where he was and why he wasn’t fulfilling his priesthood duties. Doh! He was only half-way kidding.
Angry Whopper to go
The land of the whopper is certainly not a land of speed. Our cashier had a contest with Tanner to see who could grab the biggest handful of catsup packets. It took forever to get our food. We were hoping for “fast food” and ended up with just core sustinance (barely).
Pit stop #1
St. George for gas and Burger King. Tanner filled his pockets with catsup packets. Grandma Jayne would be proud.
Boys 2 Vegas
Our hot Dodge Nitro as the vehicle of choice to wing us towards Las Vegas.
Go Utes!
Pilgrimage Prep
The boys are getting ready for the trip to the MWC Basketball tournament. Will we get there in time for the Utah game at 7:00 pm? Will we leave Salt Lake before 2:00 pm? Who knows.
Tanner is somewhat impatiently waiting at school. I am sure that he is bugging his poor teachers to death. I don’t envy them at all.
We are all getting excited and a bit antsy. Let’s go and get out of here!
