It is a bitter-sweet day. My little Lexus car that we have had for nearly 15 years was sold for a whopping $600. It needed to go, but it still hurts a bit. Carlos (the new owner) used his advanced bartering / dickering skills to get us to let her go for $600. We are not good negotiators. We hate the whole process so we probably could have gotten a few more dollars for it, but it is over and our driveway is a little bit lonely now.
The little gold car was wonderful. It had 247K miles on it. It took us all over Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Colorado, and California. It gave us a lot of good memories.
