Happy Birthday Mom
Happy Birthday Momma,
I sure miss you, your smile, comfort, and advice. I miss it all and hope that I can somehow honor you and follow in the proud tradition of love and secret service. Dad took flowers and balloons over to your grave today too. I know that he misses and loves you very much as well.
I played phone tag, exchanging voicemails with Holly. She is doing pretty well, but I think that she is getting tired of being in school. She feels constrained and whether she ends up back here in Utah or somewhere else, I think that she misses life here. I know that she really misses you, maybe more than all the rest of us.
I love you so much and can’t wait to see you again someday. There are times that I feel so close to you, that I can feel of your influence and pull. I really like those times.
All is well. Life is good. Crum bums abound but we will get through it.

Well, the experiment worked. Public transportation took nearly an hour vs 25 minutes via car – and I got hot and sweaty. Not a great win.
